The Andy Warhol Revisited: A Pop Art Exhibition graces the Revolver Gallery (77 Bloor Street West) in Toronto until the end of the year (December 31,2015).

The Revolver Gallery will feature a selection of Andy Warhol’s most iconic pieces right in the heart of Toronto’s Yorkville area. From Warhol’s historic (and iconic) works: the infamous “Campbell’s Soup Cans”; celebrity ‘portraits’ such as Marilyn Monroe, Mao & Mickey Mouse; to literally over hundreds of rare, obscure; historic works — “will provide an engaging and educational walkthrough of the development of Warhol’s artistic language and its greater effect on culture”

This exhibition will also include a selection of original Polaroids from the The Andy Warhol Foundation. In one of the planned lecture presentations, internationally renown Canadian artist, Gary Taxali discussed Warhol’s impact on today’s artist and how it has influenced his own works. It was a packed house for Taxali’s presentation lecture, accompanied by a slide show and Q+A session exploring the impact of Warhol on pop culture and for Taxali himself.
