Early Career in Music and Entertainment

Ron Rivlin began his career in the 1990s as a concert promoter and talent agent. In 1995, he launched Daybreaks Productions, organizing large-scale music events across North America. Three years later, he founded Coast II Coast Entertainment, an agency that quickly gained traction in the hip-hop and electronic music scenes. Representing artists such as Run DMC, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Slick Rick, Junior Vasquez, Louie Vega, and Infected Mushroom, the agency established Rivlin as a respected figure in the live music industry.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

Rivlin expanded his portfolio with several business ventures across tech, home design, and hospitality. He launched Social Matters Digital in 2008, a digital marketing firm specializing in internet advertising. A year later, a personal need for pool fencing led him to launch Styleguard, a national brand offering luxury frameless glass pool enclosures.

In parallel, he partnered in several high-profile Los Angeles restaurants and nightclubs. Then in 2022, he executive produced the feature film Bandit, starring Josh Duhamel and Mel Gibson.

Revolver Gallery and the Warhol Legacy

In 2012, Rivlin turned his passion for collecting into a mission by founding Revolver Gallery. Notably, it is the world’s only gallery dedicated exclusively to the life and work of Andy Warhol. Since then, Revolver has grown significantly from its small beginnings in a Beverly Hills storefront. It now holds the largest gallery-owned Warhol collection globally, with over 300 original screenprints and paintings.

Rivlin is widely recognized as one of the foremost experts on Warhol’s market and printmaking techniques. As a result, his commitment to education and transparency has made Revolver a trusted source for collectors and institutions worldwide.

Market Reports and Publishing

In 2019, Ron authored the first Andy Warhol Print Market Report, which quickly became a bestseller on Amazon. Subsequently, he followed this with Warhol LIVES in 2022, The Royal Warhol Year in 2023, The Iconic Warhol in 2024, and his latest report, Warhol The American in 2025. Each edition combines market data with curatorial insights, thereby offering collectors a deeper understanding of Warhol’s enduring relevance and value.

Expertise and Recognition

Ron has consulted for the FBI’s art crime division, lending his authentication expertise to federal investigations. His standing as an authority on Warhol screenprints and provenance is widely acknowledged in both the public and private sectors of the art world.
