Form K.K. (Japan)

Form K.K. is based in Tokyo, Japan, and published Andy Warhol’s Love series in 1983. This series explores intimacy and the excitement of physical touch. Warhol famously said, “Fantasy love is much better than reality love. The most exciting thing is not-doing-it,” alluding to the tension before physical intimacy and the build up of sexual chemistry. This build up is seen in this series as all the couples are seen just before the act of intimacy, vibrating slightly as the colors follow their forms.
