Galerie Bernd Kluser is a German contemporary art gallery that published Warhol’s Lenin prints which show Russian political leader Vladimir Lenin. This series was published in 1987 and explores the intersection between celebrity status and politics, with Lenin shadowed in black and red. Alongside Lenin, Warhol also painted political leaders like John F. Kennedy, Mao Zedong, Ronald Reagan, and more.
