Andy Warhol: Revisited Lands in Santa Monica – Over 200 Works on View

Revolver Gallery is celebrating the opening of its new location with the critically acclaimed show Andy Warhol: Revisited. The show premiered in Toronto in 2015, where it was a smash hit. The exhibition is ready to make its stateside debut at beloved LA art space Bergamot Station on February 11, 2017.

Revolver is home to the largest gallery-owned collection of Warhol works, and our new location really lets us show them off! Campbell’s soup cans and Marilyn Monroe intermingle with cowboys, Kennedys, electric chairs and glamorous transvestites in this wall-to-wall, salon-style exhibition. The exhibition will feature interactive installations and the gallery’s latest acquisition, Andy’s 1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.  It is the first time Andy’s car will be on display to the public.
The Silver Factory will be recreated in the Billy Name room, with the famed Factory photographer himself giving a talk during the exhibition. Andy’s films will be screened in the silver-walled projection room Visitors can take a break and snap a selfie while sitting on Andy’s blood-orange sofa and marveling over wall-to-wall artwork in the “Glitz-Glam” room, which includes a Dollar Sign painting.  Andy Warhol: Revisited encapsulates the artist’s fascination with glamour, fame, and tragedy through his artistic creations.

Revolver Gallery is devoted to preserving the legacy of Andy Warhol through education and immersive experience. Take the opportunity to become part of the Factory family when the exhibition premieres on February 11th, 2017.
