Supreme's Andy Warhol Muhammad Ali Shirts

The skateboard clothing brand Supreme and Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts team up! Together, they have created a series of clothing items inspired by Warhol’s depiction of the great boxer Muhammad Ali.

During his reign as “The Greatest” legendary boxer Muhammad Ali’s was destined to cross paths with celebrity-obsessed Andy Warhol. Even though they only met once, Warhol described Ali as ‘unforgettable’ and included him in the famous Athletes Polaroid series. Warhol managed to capture the energetic Ali in a rare state of calm reflection, and featured his portrait in a number of different works.

Supreme dropped its new line in April and the items are all inspired by pop culture icons such as Betty Boop, Playboy and, of course, Andy Warhol. Images of Ali as captured by the pop art legend will be featured on hooded sweatshirts and short-sleeve T-shirts. The collection is available online at http://www.supremenewyork.com and in-stores in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Japan.
