In 1982, The New York Association for the Blind published Andy Warhol’s Watercolor Paint Kit to be auctioned at their gala as part of a fundraiser. This painting is a still life of a watercolor palette alluding to the juxtaposition between Warhol’s “machine-like” art practice and the set traditions of fine art painting. The association was founded in 1906.
